The Music of StarCraft II

I don't think many actually really listen to the music in StarCraft II, but did you know that the main theme of Wings of Liberty is a beautifully orchestrated piece? It is performed by The Skywalker Symphony Orchestra and is composed by Glenn Stafford, Derek Duke, Russell Brower, and Neal Acree. This 7-minute epic piece tells the story of the initial StarCraft game in a nutshell.

  • 0:09-0:55 - StarCraft Menu Theme
  • 0:56-2:17 - The rise of the Sons of Korhal and Mengsk
  • 2:18-3:28 - Kerrigan betrayed
  • 3:29-3:57 - Tassadar kills the Overmind
  • 3:58-5:08 - The Protoss on Shakuras
  • 5:09-6:07 - Brood War theme
  • 6:08- Wings of Liberty theme (Da Capo)
I have been listening this while I am at work for a few days already. It really makes me hyped for this game. Those who have been able to obtain the Collector's Edition of StarCraft are lucky to have this OST included in the package!

Funny Korean StarCraft II commercials

It's the beginning of a new week, so I thought it'd be nice to share some StarCraft II commercials.
